Synergy Four Disinfectant

Synergy Four Disinfectant is a concentrated, neutral pH quaternary-ammonium disinfectant, cleaner, and deodorizer in one. Part of the Synergy Four family — the same proven chemistry as the Aerosol and Deodorant in the line, formulated for mop-bucket and spray-bottle dilution.

Built for facilities that need to disinfect AND deodorize in one step — hospitals, nursing homes, schools, daycare centers, veterinary clinics, and any institutional or industrial setting. When used per label directions, it's a one-step hospital-use disinfectant that is bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, and mildewstatic.

What makes Synergy Four Disinfectant different

  • One-step hospital-use disinfectant. Cleans, disinfects, deodorizes, and inhibits mildew in a single application on hard, non-porous, non-food contact surfaces.
  • SARS-CoV-2 in 2 minutes. Effective against COVID-19, plus HIV-1, Hepatitis B/C, influenza A (H1N1/H3N2), RSV, and coronaviruses at 2 oz/gal.
  • Broad-spectrum bactericidal. Effective against MRSA, VRE, VISA, E. coli (including O157:H7, ESBL, and antibiotic-resistant strains), Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, Pseudomonas, and 40+ other organisms.
  • Animal / veterinary claims. Effective against Canine Distemper, Feline Picornavirus, Canine Coronavirus, Avian Influenza H5N1/H3N2, and Swine H1N1 at 2 oz/gal. Canine Parvovirus and Rabies at 9 oz/gal.
  • Family of formats. Pair with Synergy Four Aerosol and Deodorant for matching Fresh Linen fragrance across high-touch and ambient spaces.

Dilution + contact time

  • Disinfection / Virucidal / Fungicidal: 2 oz per gallon of water, 10 minutes contact time
  • SARS-CoV-2: 2 oz per gallon, 2 minutes contact time
  • Canine Parvovirus / Rabies: 9 oz per gallon, 10 minutes contact time

What it isn't

Not a food-contact sanitizer. Not for soft or porous surfaces. Quat residue can interfere with floor finish bonding — rinse before recoating.

Surface compatibility

Tested at label concentration on common facility surfaces. For uncommon substrates, request a compatibility test from your Damon rep.

Application directions

Step-by-step instructions. Read all steps and any caution-flagged steps in full before starting.

  1. 1

    Dilute per use case

Standard disinfection: 2 oz per gallon of water (1:64). See Technical Data Sheet for variation by surface and target organism.

  2. 2

    Apply to pre-cleaned surface

Apply to a pre-cleaned hard non-porous surface with mop, sponge, cloth, or sprayer. Heavily soiled surfaces should be cleaned first.

  3. 3

    Allow 10-minute contact

Surface should remain visibly wet for 10 minutes (standard EPA-listed disinfection contact time). Reapply if the surface dries early.

  4. 4

    No rinse on standard application

No rinsing needed under normal use. Rinse food-prep areas before food contact, and rinse floors before applying a new finish coat.
