Neutra-Stat 256 is the most economical Neutra-Stat — a 1:256 concentrated, neutral pH quaternary-ammonium one-step disinfectant, cleaner, and deodorizer with full EPA hospital, virucidal, fungicidal, and mildewstatic claims. Dilutes 0.5 oz per gallon — twice as economical as the 1:128 formulation.
What makes Neutra-Stat 256 different
- One-step hospital-use disinfectant. Cleans, disinfects, deodorizes on hard, non-porous, non-food contact surfaces.
- SARS-CoV-2 in 2 minutes. Effective against COVID-19, HIV-1, Hepatitis B/C, influenza A (H1N1/H3N2), RSV, and coronaviruses at 0.5 oz/gal.
- 1:256 economical dilution. 0.5 oz per gallon — one gallon of concentrate yields ~256 gallons of use solution.
- Broad kill list. Effective against MRSA, VRE, VISA, E. coli (O157:H7, ESBL, Carbapenem-, Tetracycline-resistant), Salmonella, Listeria, Pseudomonas, and 40+ other bacteria. 7-day mildewstatic for Aspergillus niger.
- Veterinary claims. Canine Distemper, Feline Picornavirus, Canine Coronavirus, Avian Influenza H5N1/H3N2, Swine H1N1 at 0.5 oz/gal. Canine Parvovirus and Rabies at 2.25 oz/gal.
Dilution + contact time
- Disinfection / Virucidal / Fungicidal: 0.5 oz per gallon of water, 10 minutes
- SARS-CoV-2: 0.5 oz per gallon, 2 minutes
- Canine Parvovirus / Rabies: 2.25 oz per gallon, 10 minutes
- Water quality: Effective in water up to 400 ppm hardness with 5% soil
What it isn't for
Concentrate causes severe skin burns and eye damage — wear PPE when mixing. Not a food-contact sanitizer. Not for soft or porous surfaces.

What it isn't
Not a sterilant. Not for direct food-contact without rinsing (use Q-San). Concentrate causes severe burns — wear PPE. Use 2.25 oz/gal for Rabies and Canine Parvo claims.

Dilute ½ oz/gal (1:256)
Ideal: a proportioning dispenser. For Rabies and Canine Parvovirus, use 2.25 oz/gal — read the label carefully.

Pre-clean heavy soil
Disinfection contact times assume up to 5% organic soil load — pre-clean visibly heavy soil first.

Apply with mop, sprayer, or cloth
Wet surfaces thoroughly with mop, sponge, cloth, sprayer, or pump dispenser.

Wet 10 minutes (2 for COVID/HIV)
Standard kill claim: 10 minutes. SARS-CoV-2 and HIV-1: 2 minutes. HBV/HCV: 10 minutes.

Air dry or wipe
No rinse required except when floors will be recoated with finish.
