Family-owned and operated in Alliance, Ohio since 1938 — nearly nine decades of chemical specialty manufacturing.

1938 — Founded

Damon Industries was founded in 1938, originally serving local industrial cleaning needs in northeast Ohio. From the beginning, the company’s focus has been on chemical specialty formulation rather than commodity products.

Manufacturing in Alliance, Ohio

The company has manufactured from its plant in Alliance, Ohio for its entire history. This in-house manufacturing capability allows for custom formulation and tight quality control across the full product line.

Today

Damon Industries continues as a family-owned business under the leadership of Amy Damon, President. The company manufactures over 300 chemical specialties — cleaners, degreasers, disinfectants, floor finishes, strippers, water treatment, laundry products, soldering fluxes, fuel tank coatings (including the flagship Red-Kote fuel tank liner), and more — serving customers across the United States and internationally.
