Daco-San II

Daco-San II is a 13% inhibited acid bowl cleaner formulated to dissolve hard-water scale, rust stains, and lime deposits in toilet bowls and urinals — fast — without etching porcelain. Corrosion inhibitors protect chrome and stainless fittings during routine use.

What makes it different

  • Strong enough for set-in stains. 13% acid blend cuts through hard-water buildup that quat cleaners and detergents cannot touch.
  • Inhibited for fixture safety. Corrosion inhibitors let it sit on chrome trim, flush valves, and stainless without pitting during normal contact times.
  • Thickened cling. Coats the bowl above the waterline so it works on the stain rather than running straight into the trap.
  • Ready to use. No dilution, no mixing errors — pour, swab, flush.

What it isn't for

Not for marble, terrazzo, or any acid-sensitive natural stone. Not for galvanized or aluminum surfaces. Never mix with bleach or other chlorinated cleaners — releases toxic chlorine gas.

Packaging

One-gallon plastic jugs, packed four per case. Backed by Damon's guarantee and over 70 years of service.

Application directions

Step-by-step instructions. Read all steps and any caution-flagged steps in full before starting.

  1. 1

    Flush the bowl

Flush to lower the water level below the rim so the cleaner can contact the soiled area directly.

  2. 2

    Apply around the rim

Pour 2-4 oz around the inside of the bowl, letting the cleaner coat the staining and run down the sides.

  3. 3

    Swab and dwell

Swab with a bowl mop, paying attention to under the rim. Let it dwell 2-5 minutes on heavy mineral or rust stains.

  4. 4

    Flush thoroughly

Flush the toilet two to three times to fully clear residual acid from the trap and bowl surfaces.
