Da-Clean A.P.C.
Enzyme all-purpose cleaner-degreaser concentrate
Da-Clean A.P.C.
Da-Clean A.P.C. is an enzyme-based, neutral-pH all-purpose cleaner-degreaser concentrate. Originally formulated for meat departments and food-processing back-of-house, it breaks down fats, oils, grease, and protein soil without aggressive caustics that attack stainless or skin.
What makes it different
- Enzyme-driven cleaning. Biological enzymes digest fats, proteins, and organic soil at the source instead of just lifting them with surfactants.
- Neutral pH 7. Safer for stainless, aluminum, soft metals, and operator hands than alkaline or acid degreasers.
- Wide dilution range. Light maintenance through heavy meat-department degreasing by varying the dilution.
- Drain and grease-trap friendly. Enzymes continue working in drain lines and traps where typical alkaline cleaners merely emulsify and re-deposit.
What it isn't for
Not a sanitizer or disinfectant. Use cool to lukewarm water — hot water (above ~120°F) denatures the enzymes. Not for surfaces requiring caustic strip cleaning (e.g., oven carbon).
Packaging
One-gallon plastic jugs (2- and 4-gallon cases), five-gallon pails, and 30-gallon drums. Free ground shipping to the lower 48. Backed by Damon's guarantee.
What it isn't
Not a sanitizer or disinfectant. Do not mix with hot water above ~120°F — heat denatures the enzymes. Not for baked-on oven carbon.
Surface compatibility
Tested at label concentration on common facility surfaces. For uncommon substrates, request a compatibility test from your Damon rep.

Application directions
Step-by-step instructions. Read all steps and any caution-flagged steps in full before starting.
-
1
Dilute with cool to lukewarm water
Light cleaning: 1:64. General degreasing: 1:20. Heavy meat-department soil: 1:4 to 1:10. Use cool to lukewarm water — hot water denatures the enzymes.
-
2
Apply
Apply by spray, foam, mop, or pressure washer. Let dwell long enough for enzymes to digest soil — typically 5-10 minutes on heavy grease.
-
3
Agitate if needed
Agitate stubborn soil with a brush or scrub pad. The enzymes do the chemistry — mechanical action speeds it.
-
4
Rinse
Rinse with potable water. Residual enzymes continue working in floor drains and grease traps.
