Brite-Buff
Spray-buffing compound for high-gloss floor finishes
Brite-Buff
Brite-Buff is a water-based spray-buffing compound that cleans and polishes hard floor finishes in a single pass. Designed to pair with Ultimet HP, Ultimet 21 Plus, and similar acrylic finishes, it works under low-speed (175-300 RPM) buffers as well as 1,000 RPM-plus burnishers. The finish looks better and lasts longer.
What makes it different
- Use ready-to-use. No dilution — saves the labor and risk of mix errors.
- Spray or mop on. Trigger spray for spot polishing or mop-on at 3,000 sq ft per gallon for whole-room jobs.
- Works with the pad you have. Red or white buffing pads for most installations, but compatible with Genie or burnishing pads on high-speed machines.
- Pleasant mild floral fragrance. Comfortable for crews working extended shifts.
What it isn’t for
Not a finish — won’t restore stripped or heavily worn floors (use Final Result or First Light). Not for unfinished or unsealed flooring. Not to be diluted.

Application directions
Step-by-step instructions. Read all steps and any caution-flagged steps in full before starting.
-
1
Do not dilute
Brite-Buff is ready to use. Diluting reduces gloss build and wastes product.
-
2
Pick the right pad
Typically a red or white buffing pad. Best pad depends on flooring, finish, machine speed and weight — ask your Damon rep for a recommendation.
-
3
Spray method
Using a trigger sprayer, mist a fine layer onto an area you can buff within a few minutes.
-
4
Mop-on method
Pour into a clean mop bucket (no dilution). Dip a clean finish mop and wring to damp. Mop an area you can buff in a few minutes — coverage is roughly 3,000 sq ft per gallon.
-
5
Buff until dry
Buff with a rotary floor machine until the floor is fully dry and polished. Restart the cycle on the next section.
