Accelerate II

Qué hace diferente a Accelerate II

  • Bajo olor.

What it isn't

Not a disinfectant or sanitizer. Not for use on marble, soft stone, or unfinished wood. Always rinse thoroughly before applying a new finish.

Surface compatibility

Tested at label concentration on common facility surfaces. For uncommon substrates, request a compatibility test from your Damon rep.

Application directions

Step-by-step instructions. Read all steps and any caution-flagged steps in full before starting.

  1. 1

    Dilute per finish thickness

For most floors, dilute 1:4 (32 oz Accelerate II per gallon of cool water). For heavy buildup, use stronger dilution up to 1:2. Cool water reduces evaporation and extends working time.

  2. 2

    Apply liberally

Apply with mop or autoscrubber (recovery off). Wet the floor heavily and keep edges flooded — dry edges are where finish stripping fails.

  3. 3

    Dwell 5–10 minutes

Let the solution work for 5–10 minutes. Do not let the floor dry — reapply if needed. The longer dwell time at lower agitation reduces fume and operator effort.

  4. 4

    Agitate

Use an autoscrubber with appropriate stripping pads, or a side-by-side swing machine with brown/black strip pads. Heavy buildup may need a second pass.

  5. 5

    Pick up the slurry

Wet-vac, autoscrubber recovery, or mop up the dissolved finish slurry. Don't let it dry on the floor — redrying creates a film that's hard to remove.

  6. 6

    Neutralize and rinse

Rinse with clean potable water at least twice. Stripper residue WILL interfere with new finish bonding — a thorough rinse is critical. Let the floor dry completely before applying the new finish coat.
