ANSI / ISEA has released an updated version of their Z358.1-2004 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. The new standard, ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2009, finally replaces the word "tepid" in defining the suitable water temperature. Delivery water temperature must be between 60 and 100 degrees Farenheit for the full 10 minute flushing time.
